BP readies static kill; shares up 33% in July

BP PLC is moving ahead with plans to plug up the blown-out Macondo well drilled by the stricken Deepwater Horizon rig, with a so-called static kill operation expected to start by Monday or Tuesday.

CTI's Project Controls group is available to assist in the success of our customer's projects by providing scheduling and cost control services.

Our well versed personnel will establish a project schedule at any level of detail where tracking is required. These schedules will be baselined and utilized as the tool to track actual progress is tracked against during the execution of a project. The Project Controls group will generate progress reports that include graphical "S-Curve" indications of progress.

Additionally, cost control services can be performed by this group. From inception of a Work Breakdown Structure through final project closeout, costs can be tracked with reports issued showing to date expenditures, committed costs and forecast of remaining costs. These real-time reports provide our clients with accurate and through understanding of the project budget.
